Dedicated to Deanne

Deanne is the mother of one of my best friends from college.  She passed on this week after a hard fought 7 1/2 year battle with cancer.  In her honor I made her daughters and granddaughters these necklaces.  Deanne spent some time in Africa and a few times brought me back some beautiful beads and shared my love for jewelry making.  So these are made in her memory...

The Jess Necklace

True confession...I designed this necklace for myself, I am a red-head with brown eyes so it is pretty much perfect for my coloring.  I love wearing my necklace like this--I wear it with a brown v-neck and jeans, and also with a dressy brown scoop neck dress.  It also looks great with cream and gray.  I have enough supplies to make 8 additional necklaces in this design.

The Jamie Necklace

The Ashley's Mom Necklace

No seriously...this one is designed for my friend Ashley's mom who wanted gray and silver with a pop of red.  Whichever one Ashley's mom does not choose  is up for sale...maybe your mom will want one too!

The Ashley Necklace

This necklace is designed for my new found friend (our husbands played college basketball together) and #1 encourager to take the step in selling my jewelry.  She was looking for a gray, silver and black necklace to wear with the black in her wardrobe.  Thanks for all of your support Ashley!

The Jennifer Necklace

This necklace was designed for friend of a friend who was looking for a black and white color scheme.  The flowers in this necklace could also easily be adjusted into more simple designs.  I have an exact replica of this necklace ready to be sold.

The Avery Necklace

Avery is one of my roommate from college who is from the beach and loves the water.  She is a jeans and white tank top kind of girl and this beautiful blue necklace will be perfect to dress up her style and compliment her gray/blue eyes.  I have all of the beads needed to replicate this necklace.

The Jordan Necklace

This necklace is designed for my friend Jordan who wears a lot of gray, cream and earth-tone colors.  And the flowers on this necklace are the perfect size to make a more simple necklace with just two flowers on the side.  The main flower is a beautiful natural stone with amazing stripes.  I have all of the stones (except for the shells to the left of the main flower) necessary to make multiple necklaces in this style.

The Kate Necklace

This one is designed for my mentor Kate.  She was looking for a more neutral necklace that she could wear with any color.  The two flower and the flowers on either side of the main flower are wooden beads, which contributes to a lighter weight necklace.  I have enough beads to make one duplicate of this necklace.

Single Flower

This flower could be attached to a necklace by itself.

Blue & Black Necklace

Bracelets

The bracelets are made with elastic hair ties for comfort and adjustability.  I do not have all of these beads in stock for the bracelets shown below, however can make bracelets out of any flower that you see in the postings above, and here is one bracelet that I do have made and ready.  Please email me if you are interested in purchasing bracelets at jessjiao@gmail.com.

Her bridesmaid bracelets

We were so happy with how the necklace turned out that we decided to make bracelets for each of the bridesmaids to wear to complimented her necklace.  Above are a few photos of the bracelets.

It all began with Morgan's Necklace

My beautiful friend Morgan asked me to make her a signature necklace to wear at her wedding reception.  I've always loved making jewelry and other crafts, but this was definitely my greatest craft/jewelry undertaking.  Her wedding colors were brown, raspberry and lime and her ceremony was outside, on the water in the Outer Banks.  I had so much fun making this necklace for her that I started making more...
